The symbolism of the wedjat-eye amulet is one of the most pervasive and powerful in ancient Egypt. Combining a human eye with the stylized markings of a falcon’s, this symbol of healing power and rebirth was thought to protect its wearer. Wendover Studio debuts six interpretations of the wedjat eye, utilizing hand frayed edges, color, and a textured gold frame.
