CEO Richard Forsyth followed his entrepreneurial dream and in 2005 purchased a small poster company at the age of 26 with the vision of building the best art company in the world. By focusing on core values, teamwork, collaboration, and success, Wendover Art Group has grown to be THE SOURCE FOR ART for its residential design, retail, and commercial customers. Prior to Wendover, Richard worked as an Associate with private equity firm Goense Bounds & Partners (Lake Forest, IL) and as a M&A Analyst with First Union Securities, formerly Bowles Hollowell Connor & Co (Charlotte, NC). Richard serves as the Chairman of the Investment Committee and Board Member of the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, Southeast Regional Learning Officer for Young Presidents Association, Trustee of Berkeley Preparatory School (Tampa, FL) and Member of the Florida Council on Arts and Culture. He graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from Wake Forest University. Richard is the husband of Francesca and father to Issie, RJ, Alistair, and Carolina.

CHARLIE HENDRICK

Charlie Hendrick joined Wendover in 2018 as the Chief Financial Officer. As of March of 2022, he now serves as the Chief Operating Officer overseeing the day to day operating and manufacturing functions and is instrumental in Wendover’s M&A strategy. Prior to coming to Wendover, Charlie was an investment banker at Hyde Park Capital where he provided sell-side M&A advisory services to family and founder-owned companies. Charlie began his career with KPMG LLP in Tampa consulting with clients on state and local tax matters. He graduated from Wake Forest University with a B.S. in Finance and M.S. in Accountancy, holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, and is a Certified Public Accountant. Outside of the office Charlie enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, playing golf, and cheering on the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.

STUART SPENCER

Stuart Spencer joined Wendover Art Group in 2017 as the Director of Sales and Operations for the Residential sector. In his role Stuart has overseen the rapid maturation of the Wendover residential sales activity, doubled the national sales rep force and managed the remodel and designs of four showrooms. Today, he manages over 45 independent sales reps across the nation, manages two full time showroom managers in Atlanta and Dallas, and oversees the operations of 8 tradeshows each year. Stuart’s extensive experience in the home décor and home furnishing industry, starting in the mid 90s, ranges from being an independent sales representative, managing showrooms to owning and running a sales representative firm. Stuart received his B.S. in Business Administration from the College of Charleston, SC. Being newer to the Florida area, Stuart spends as much time as possible on his boat in the Tampa Bay area. 

KATIE LEIDNER

Katelin Leidner is the Director of Creative Staffing and Talent Development and is an example of the American Dream in action. She started Wendover in 2014 as an Art Consultant, fostering her passion for art, design and business to build strong artwork programs for the commercial business. Currently as Director, Katelin oversees the Creative Department, which includes Product Development, Art Consulting, Wendover Studios and Graphic Design. She is focused on building a high-performance team, cross-training, staffing and talent development. In addition, she leads the Art Consulting team in the management of curated art programs for retail, commercial, healthcare, and residential clients while focused on building strong relationships and key partners. Katelin holds a B.A. in Glass Sculpture, Magna Cum Laude, from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY, and an M.A. in Arts Administration, Magna Cum Laude, from Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, GA. Katelin loves all forms of art, but you might find her blowing glass in her spare time.

SARAH GUARNIZO

Sarah Guarnizo joined Wendover in April 2021 as the Director of Marketing. In her role she oversees omni-channel marketing to drive brand awareness and increased customer engagement. Leveraging her breadth of expertise in marketing, creative, storytelling and media, along with her commitment to building forward-thinking luxury brands, Sarah has a dedicated focus on content development that helps to drive the growth and evolution for Wendover Art Group to be known as the best art company in the world. Prior to Wendover, Sarah has years of experience delivering first-class art and design production and marketing concepts that increase brand value for B2B, B2C and media companies including Arteriors, Wisteria, Hearst Magazines and Meredith Corporation. Sarah graduated from Iowa State University with a B.F.A in Graphic Design. Sarah is the wife of Sunil, and mother to Nicolas and Isabel. 

KRISTINA VELAZQUEZ

Kristina Velazquez is the Director of Human Resources. She joined Wendover in January 2019 as a Sr. Human Resources Coordinator and quickly became an integral member of the operations team. Prior to Wendover, Kristina worked at Pella Corporation where she became a Kaizen leader and learned many lean principles that have helped shape the production floor. Kristina is dedicated to building high-performance teams throughout the organization and developing the truly talented team members at Wendover. Kristina is the wife of Armando and mother to Benjamin, Aubryella, Brennan, and Audreyanna.
